Hi is it possible that I could join at this late stage and be given a number please and also set a target of £200. Many thanks
I can hardly believe this.......DH gave me some of his odd bits of change for my pottery piggy yesterday and just as I was thanking him and telling him how kind it was of him to think of me, he said......'Oh well it's mine really, as I contributed most of the change in it'. takeaway menus WHAT!outdoor banners ' No! it most definately is not yours', I said, and suggested he thought againletterheads . So now he has decided to get his own pottery piggy in oposition to mine....which will now cut down on the amount of loose change I can pinch off him. I was so cross, I made him go and dig in the garden all day today and I am considering sealing up and hiding pottery piggy to prevent any tampering with it by DH hoping to have a better piggy than mine. MEN!! Anyway, I relented and cooked him a lovely Sunday Roast and he hasn't mentioned the 2nd Piggy since, but if he does, little does he know it, but that will be mine as well.......takeaway menus........as it was my idea in the first place.
Oh and just to make matters worse -the 'pavement pennies sniffer dog' is on strike and won't look for anything other than crisp packets which might just not be empty and any other discarded bag which might just happen to have had food in it. When we bought her we were told some of her ancestors had been police dogs -guess the brains didn't run in the family ....bless her...we love her to bits really.
I have just made yet another sealed pot (this time it will be for £1 coins)
I think I may have become a bit obsessed. I was washing up a juice botle for recycling and I thought what a wonderful pot it would make for £1 coins (my £2 coins are in a converted jam jar, my random coins are in a gift box a mug came in and the 10ps are in my piggy bank) so out came the craft knife and a slot was created in the lid which I superglued on.
